For my birthday Dave surprised me with what I had really been wanting. A vegetable garden.
He didnt plant the vegetables, but he turned the west side of the house into my own private place to grow my flowers and veggies.
He literally designed an arbor and fence to keep the entire west side yard into my own secret garden. He built the whole thing while I was gone in Kansas City.
It was the best present he could have ever gotten me.

My secret garden. You can't see them very well but I bought two climbing roses that will grow up and over the arbor.

8 tomato plants, 4 different kinds of peppers, cilantro, beets, basil, yellow squash and artichokes. Yum! I am so excited to make salsa from my own yard!
